Kandell and Perlstein gave three presentations at the 60th Anniversary Conference of ASA in San Diego. They led off with the "State of the Field of Creative Aging in America," giving an overview of the most recent happenings across the country. Then they gave an interactive workshop "Get a Life: Eat, Sleep, Play" that inspired participants to do theatre, dance and storytelling. And they convened a peer group for people interested in arts and aging. There were over 2,500 participants from around the country and all three presentations were packed.
